From The Board
At our Annual Meeting in October 2009 we will fill three expiring Board member terms. These are elective offices; the terms are for three years. Nominations submitted now will be placed on the ballot mailed to all homeowners prior to the annual meeting. Nominations will also be asked for at the meeting. The Pond Homeowners Association By-Laws outline the duties and responsibilities of Board members. The by-laws may be found on our website or by calling Maximum Property Management (MPM). The Board is the Association’s governance body representing all 345 homeowners, all common property and fiduciary obligations. Beyond the stated responsibilities consider that officers are committed to monthly meetings, the annual meeting, special meetings and additional time required to oversee and manage the every day, on-going affairs of the Association. In addition to having a passion for this community it is helpful to have business, management or organizational experience. Names of those who wish to be nominated should be sent to MPM. Please include brief biographical information and a short statement explaining why you wish to serve. This information will be sent to all homeowners along with the ballot. Thanks! Thanks to all those homeowners who have diligently submitted Requests to the Architectural Control Committee for improvements following the hail storm. Obviously, they have a concern to maintain the value of their property. Collectively, that equates to a benefit to all homeowners as that enhances and sustains the overall value of this community.
